Patriot Day

The Lawrence Early Childhood Center gathered together to honor and remember the fallen that were lost on September 11, 2001. Students and staff dressed in patriotic colors- red, white, and blue- and proudly waves flags they had created on their own for the occasion.

A special flag ceremony was held for the Early Childhood Center. The ceremony began with the lowering of the flag and a moment of silence. With the help of Mrs. Graham, the building principal, the flag was then folded respectfully for retirement. A new flag was then raised, and the entire school joined together in unity to recite the Pledge of Allegiance and sang the Star-Spangled Banner.

This heartfelt ceremony not only paid tribute to those we lost but also reminded our students of the importance of unity, respect, and coming together as a community.
