Lawrence Kindergarten

Lawrence Early Childhood Center had the pleasure of hosting distinguished guest readers in celebration of World Read Aloud Day. Members of our National Honor Society from Lawrence High School engaged with our ECC students by sharing a selection of stories with various classes. The children thoroughly enjoyed the presence of these guest readers, and the high school students found the experience equally rewarding. This event provided a valuable opportunity to illustrate to our young learners that these high school students were once kindergarteners themselves, just beginning their reading journey. It instilled a sense of hope in our students, as they realized that one day they too could return to ECC as older students to inspire and read to future generations.
