Grade 2 students in Ms. Lopeck's class celebrated National Hot Chocolate Day!
In STEAM, students learned about extreme weather conditions and how a tornado forms. The students made a tornado in a bottle filling one bottle with water and connecting it to an empty one. They had a great time together flipping the bottles over, spinning them in a circular pattern, and watching the swirling funnel that looks just like a real tornado!
Grade 2 students in Ms. Firestone's class are partner reading and working towards their Reading WIGS!
Students participated in Groundhog Day Activities which consisted of vocabulary labeling, following directions, and feeding the Groundhog different foods!
Students in Ms. Romito's and Ms. Firestone's class enjoyed reading together for World Read Aloud Day!
Students in Ms. Feigeles' class are celebrating Groundhog's Day and wearing their winter crowns for six more weeks!
