September 11th is a time to pause and reflect as we honor those of our Nation who we have lost. This holiday, also known as Patriot Day, is observed in the United States to commemorate innocent victims. On this day, we display the flag at half-staff in remembrance of all the brave and selfless heroes that defended our freedom.
We recognized this day within our school on Friday, September 9th with a Flag Ceremony on the front lawn. Today provides us with an opportunity to take a moment of silence to remember the bravery of so many.
