*Ms. Lopeck's students applied their critical thinking skills to construct a polar bear den out of marshmallows and toothpicks! Students participated in this project-based learning opportunity after learning that polar bears are carnivores, predators, and have webbed feet!*
*Ms. Moreno's first grade students used math manipulatives to understand place value! Students worked in groups and were able to practice counting by tens!*
