The 2nd grade classes enjoyed an exciting field trip to United Skates of America, where learning and fun went hand in hand.

During their visit, students participated in a brief STEAM lesson all about skates, exploring how they are designed and how they work. They also took time to discuss the importance of safety while skating, learning how to stay balanced and be mindful on the rink.

Afterward, it was time to put their knowledge into action as they hit the floor and had a great time skating together. The trip was a wonderful mix of education, movement, and laughter, creating a memorable experience for everyone involved.

Ms. Pappas' Class and Ms. Salzberg's class did a planting activity together for Earth Day! Each child made their own greenhouse and will watch grass grow over the next few weeks!

This week marked the final Chess Club Tournament with Ms. Baquiran as a special guest and mystery player!
