LAWRENCE, NEW YORK (FEBRUARY 2025)—Lawrence Primary School students’ creativity is on full display this month at the Long Island Children’s Museum, where 70 pieces of their artwork are showcased as part of the museum’s Community Gallery. The artwork will be on display throughout February on the second floor of the museum, offering a fantastic opportunity for the public to appreciate the artistic talent of Lawrence students.
The exhibit features a diverse collection of artwork created by students from various grade levels, highlighting their imagination, skills, and unique perspectives. From vibrant paintings to intricate drawings, each piece represents the dedication and creativity students put into their works.
The success of this exhibition wouldn’t have been possible without the leadership of Ms. Young, Lawrence Primary School’s art teacher. Her dedication to fostering artistic expression in her students has provided them with countless opportunities to develop their skills and share their creativity with the wider community. Her passion for teaching and nurturing young artists is evident in the stunning work on display.
The exhibit serves as a wonderful reminder of the importance of creativity in education and the power of art to inspire and connect communities.
