This week, LPS celebrated Kindness Spirit Week! On Tuesday, we celebrated "Peace, Love, and Kindness Day" by wearing tie dye.
On Thursday, we celebrated “Team Kindness Day” by wearing sports jerseys.
On Wednesday, February 12, we hosted our annual Math Night with students and families. There were fun games, crafts, and an escape room! Our students are mathematicians!
Two LPS students, Fatima and Fresia, were selected for the “Colors of Long Island” Students Art Exhibit on display at the Long Island Museum at Stony Brook from February 20 through May 18, 2025. Art Teacher Anne Young said, "It is such a great opportunity for our students to see their artwork on display in a museum along with other students from communities across Long Island. I'm so proud of their hard work."
