This week concludes our first full week of school. Time flies when you're having fun! On Monday, students experienced an assembly hosted by Scout Reach, hearing about all of the programs they have to offer. We experienced some Science experiments, too! Scout Reach will begin after school the week of October 7th. First graders attend on Mondays, 2nd grade on Tuesdays, and 3rd grade on Wednesdays.
On Wednesday, we honored those impacted by the tragic events of September 11, 2001 . This year marks the 23rd anniversary. As a school, we gathered on our front lawn, raised the flag to half-staff, and our music teachers played the military song, "Taps."
Now that our school supplies have been unpacked and we're settled in, students are jumping right into their new routines. It was a productive week of learning and fun. Look at Mrs. Arleo's class learning to read and using Literacy technology!
