Today a Reader - Tomorrow a Leader

In STEAM. grade 3 students learned about energy and put their new knowledge to the test by building popsicle stick catapults, launching Pom Poms, and measuring how far they traveled!

Grade 1 students in Ms. Arleo's class are working towards their reading goals by reading independently on their reading level during Guided Reading center rotations!

Grade 1 students in Ms. Siciliano's class are focusing on writing the letters correctly. The students then say the sounds while writing the letters!

Grade 1 students in Ms. Baltzer's class participated in a human body project. They did a fun experiment and learned all about bones! First, they tried to make a person using only clay. Afterward, they made the person using clay and plastic straws. The plastic straws represented their bones. They learned through their experiment that their bones help them to stand, move, run, and play. The students were so proud of their discovery and did a very good job problem solving!
