Learn Something New  Today!

Grade 2 students in Ms. Firestone's class are learning all about measurement using rulers during their Math Block! 

Grade 2 students in Ms. Appleman's class engaged in a math activity, "Our Name in Fractions," where they labeled each letter of their name with the unit fraction and filled in how many equal parts are in their name, fractions of vowels, and the fraction of consonants. 


The students at LPS had so much fun at  the assembly  "BubbleMania: Science, Art and Comedy!" Casey Carle, Bubbleologist taught the students how bubbles form, why they're spherical, how to make a cube bubble and the science of bursting- each topic related to the physical laws of the natural world!

Grade 1 students in Ms. Pulella's class were reading detectives and were able to read each word and match the word to the picture! 



The students at LPS had so much fun at our Spring Carnival sponsored by the PTA!
