Dear LPS Families. There will be food distribution Wednesday, December 16 and Friday, December 18 morning from 8:45 - 11:00AM. Breakfast items will be distributed on Wednesday and lunch items/vegetables on Friday between the designated times. For all walkers, food will be distributed as you drop off your students at their designated arrival time. For bussers, food will be sent home with students. Please be available to assist your child with the provided meals at the bus stop. Wishing all a happy and healthy holiday! Queridas familias de la Escuela Primaria de Lawrence (LPS). As of December 11, 2020, New York State Public High School Athletic Association has cancelled all winter state championships and postponed all high-risk sports (i.e. basketball). The full announcement is found in the news section of the district website.

Lawrence Primary School Parent Teacher Conferences will take place remotely on Thursday, November 19th. Teachers are excited to meet with our parents/guardians to discuss each child's progress this school year! Please check your child's Google Classroom for more information from the teacher including your scheduled appointment time. There will be half day dismissal for in-person students. REMOTE FAMILIES: If your child is a full remote student and does not attend school on either Cohort week, curriculum materials will be distributed Monday, November 16th and Wednesday, November 18th from 10 - 12 PM by the gymnasium. Please bring your child's class assignment card with their teachers name. If you are interested in purchasing school Spirit Wear or books from our Scholastic Book Fair, please bring your order forms!

The District has been notified of 2 positive cases of COVID-19. It was determined that neither individual was in the school buildings during the period of time they would have been contagious. These cases emphasize the importance of testing, staying home when sick, and not masking symptoms with fever reducing medications.
